Who is Mr. Mike?
...once upon a time there was Mike, the bass guitarist for the "Petrified Rock, Space Blues" band, Joe Hood Zephyr. They were signed and ready to go...and then...
...Mike (far right) was forced to leave L.A. and return to his hometown, St. Louis, soon becoming the lead guitarist for his brother's band 'The Fountain.' Writing his own material became a ritual between jobs.
...Names changed (Mike, far left), and the band became 'Local Motion.' New do's, new clothes, new songs.
Mike continued writing...
...and then began the metamorphosis, and it was Mike (the John Lennon guy on the right) and Wyatt...
...and then the 'Toads' (Mike on the far right), who still have yearly reunions.
...and the stints with his brother's bands continued under the on-going name 'Skyline' (Visit their site at http://www.Skylinemusic.net), with Mike adding the keyboard to his Repertoire. In fact, that's where the duo originated, when Laura was asked to fill in for Skyline's singer...
